It is indeed heartening to note that the very urgent and much-needed Train2Airport services demand by concerned citizens is now being seriously addressed by both the BIAL as well as the Indian Railways (SWR). A new Halt Station situated a little ahead of the Trumpet interchange (which is the curve we take from NH to enter the Main Access Road to the Terminal) is being finalised. Shuttle Buses will run between this Halt Station and the Terminal (T1 and later, T2). The Railways need to work on various technicalities, signalling, tracks, etc. and also get new suitable rakes to start the T2A Services. T2A services from Kengeri/KSR City/Yelahanka, from Cantonment via BYPL, from Heelalige/Hosur vis BYPL and also from Whitefield via BYPL will bring down the traffic congestion and pollution significantly. All in all, this is a sign which says Bengaluru is winning. We earnestly request both IR and BIAL to fast-track the entire process and start efficient T2A services to get the desired results.
