The Environment Ministry has allowed the govt of Himachal Pradesh to kill of a species of monkey (Rhesus macaque), and Bihar to eliminate nilgai or blue bull, a species of antelope, and wild pigs where they were in conflict with humans. About 200 nilgai have been shot by hired shooters in Bihar’s Mokama area over the past three days, According to "THE HINDU". The ministry had, in December, declared blue bull, or nilgai, a vermin in Bihar. In February, it classified wild boars as vermin in Uttarakhand, and a month later, monkeys were declared vermin in Himachal Pradesh.

This Petition is NEITHER POLITICAL NOR RELIGION inspired effort. This is a pure humanitarian effort. If animals cannot raise their voice against this injustice, it doesn't mean that it is just to kill them. It is us humans who have encroached their natural habitats.

I ask a simple question if tomorrow a human encroaches another human's livelihood, then is it fair to declare the former as vermin? and is it justified for the latter person to kill him?
