Just a fraction under 4,000 signatures in this petition now. In just one week. Amazing! Thank you ALL for signing and sharing. Please rest assured I will be making sure Unilever are sent this petition in due course. It would be great to get even more signatures. The more we get, the more likely it is that Unilever will back down.

What is Parliament Doing About This?

I will also (again) be writing to every UK Member of Parliament (MP) today to ask (yet again) what they are doing to bring Unilever to book for their immoral sanctions-busting. So far, not a single British MP has even acknowledged me writing to them about it (not even my own town's MP here in Rochdale, Tony Lloyd) let alone support our efforts.

It's truly not good enough;

I have also written to every single journalist at The Guardian, Daily Telegraph and The Times to inform them about this petition. But in the meantime, if you want to do your bit to stop Putin's mindlessly horrific violence in Ukraine, please don't buy any Marmite, Dove soap or PG Tips tea (or indeed any other Unilever products). Hit them where it hurts.
