Beards have long been a part and parcel of a man's ethnic, religious and social identity. Yet when it comes to the art of expression through texts and emojis, we find a distinct lack of bearded emojis. We would like to remedy this by petitioning Unicode, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Blackberry to introduce and adopt a beard emoji and enable those of us with proud mansprawls to express ourselves in a unique way through emojis, that embody our pride in being bearded.
