PROGRESS REPORT

Well my City of Lake Worth Beach neighbors, we are one week into our campaign to fight the excessive Power Cost Adjustments being accessed to our already high electric service bills, by Lake Worth Utilities.

We had a good week, starting out red hot to get to the current 770 signatures we have collected to date – BUT – have cooled off quite a bit the past few days. I am hoping this is just a temporary lull, as we have much more to do to get the attention we need to change this unsustainable situation!

 I know you are all tired of hearing about this issue and I apologize for flooding the internet with as much motivational information as I have been – BUT – I am trying to keep the flame hot and the enthusiasm level high. We need to remain committed to this effort if we expect to change it!

 I would like to remind you that this issue will come up again, to each one of us, when the next month’s electric bill comes to us. This is why we need to strengthen our unity and remain steadfast to our efforts to spread the Petition as much and as often as possible!

 We are on our way!  We can do this together! Thank you to all!
