Khaled Alas'ad (82 years old), a well known Syrian archaeologist, was executed (beheaded) by ISIS today in Palmyra. Professor Alas'ad spent 50 years of his life working as a general director and conservator of the antiquities of Palmyra. Today after his execution, ISIS (psychopaths) hung his body on one of the ancient Roman columns that he dedicated most of his life preserving.
