Our men and women of the armed forces, who put their lives on the line toprotect our freedoms, should be treated with the utmost of respect in live and in death. To witness sunken graves and to be prohibited from visiting the gravesites of relatives is very upsetting - ESCECIALLY KNOWING THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE! Please fix the cemeter by restoring the grass lawns to prevent erosion in the event of another flood.

Please fix Fort Bliss National Cemetery by returning the grass to the area. Since the cemetery removed the grass and replaced it with xeriscape (small gravel rock) the graves have sunken repeatedly due to heavy rains. The graves always remained in tact with a lawn was maintained over the graves. In addition, a better drainage system should be employed to divert flooding in the area.
