After a few weeks of working closely with the Executive Director of Housing and Residence Life, as well as the wonderful members of our Student Government Association, we are proud and excited to share that we have found a solution to this issue! Each 2021-2022 on-campus residential student at UNCG will be eligible for a $1,500 grant to help students pay their bills. This is exactly the type of solution we needed to help students be able to return and live on campus next year. Even better, this solution will be helping more than just the students who were displaced from Tower Village, since every student living on campus is eligible for this grant. We would like to thank our friends from the Student Government Association, Tim Johnson from HRL, and everyone from UNCG who helped support us throughout this process. And we would like to thank YOU for signing this petition! Every signature, every share, every donation helped us to achieve this solution. We could not have done this without your help to support this cause and spread the word. We are very grateful that UNC Greensboro was responsive and understanding of our concerns.
