My personal passion for Skibidi Toilet videos has been stifled due to restrictions on school chromebooks. As a student, I believe in the benefits of responsible entertainment. Research shows that short bursts of entertainment can enhance cognitive performance, thereby helping students to refocus better on their studies (American Psychological Association 2018). Currently, this form of quick, harmless entertainment has been banned on school Chromebooks. It appears that Skibidi Toilet videos have been lumped together with potentially harmful content, though the videos themselves are innocuous. A reconsideration of this restrictive measure is necessary. We urge the school administration to reassess its website filtration systems, particularly regarding Skibidi Toilet. Let's foster an environment utilizing the benefits of technology in a balanced, and responsible manner. We educate better when we listen to the needs of our students. Please, sign this petition if you stand with our pursuit for balanced screen-time privileges on school chromebooks.
