Targeted Individuals worldwide are suffering and immense pain. We continue to wait, hope, and pray for an end to this inhumanity. We wait, hope, and pray that our lives will return to normal; our freedom and rights restored. In the meantime while we wait, victims continue to die; their deaths made to look like accidents or suicides. While we continue to wait, more innocent, law-abiding citizens are targeted; their lives set up for total destruction. Just like you, I have been waiting for a resolution that's nowhere in sight. I am fed up! Now I know that if I want to see change, I will have to take action of my own. However, I am only one person. I can't make change all by myself. I need for other TI's to stand with me. There's power in numbers. Let's stop hiding behind the title of: "Targeted Individual." We are so much more than that. We are going to have to find it in ourselves to push past our pain and hurt. We must let ourselves be known, let our faces be seen and our voices be heard. Across the globe, people are taking to the streets to protest injustices of all kinds. As TI"s, who have suffered silently for years, we should be taking this same type of action. This is why I am taking it upon myself to organize a protest that will take place in our nation’s capital.
