Ultra Tune Australia has, for the last few years at least, always had very sexist TV advertising. They depict women with filled lips in tight, revealing clothing who need rescuing from car breakdowns. A few years ago their campaign was along the lines of "We're into rubber", featuring a group of women in tight bodysuits with whips, all to sell tyres. Now they have women in tiny clothing being sprayed by water while their car is on fire, and women in animal bodysuits being rescued by Mike Tyson. You can see more here: https://www.ultratune.com.au/
This kind of advertising is not acceptable in 2018. In the wake of the 2017 Harvey Weinstein scandal and the #metoo campaign, women everywhere are standing up for each other. Stopping advertising like this making it to air is exactly what we should be doing. If Ultra Tune can alter their advertising to be more family-friendly and less misogynistic, we can keep on changing the culture surrounding the objectification of women.
