Dear supporters, When you signed this petition, you stood up for Ukrainian families searching for safety and stability. Your voice helped bring attention to a crisis that many people still don’t fully see. Today I want to share the story of Natalia. Natalia fled Ukraine with her two children and two bags — everything she owned. She will never see her husband again. Now she faces an impossible moment: finding the strength to tell her children that their father will never come home. But Natalia’s challenges did not end when she reached safety. Because she only has temporary legal status, she cannot build the stability her children desperately need. Families like hers struggle to secure housing, access counseling for trauma and grief, and plan a future without fear. Natalia is one of thousands of Ukrainian mothers and children living with this uncertainty every day. This is why our work continues. Through the Svetlana Foundation, we advocate for permanent legal pathways and support families trying to rebuild their lives. Temporary protection cannot be a permanent solution. If you want to continue standing with families like Natalia’s, please visit: svetlanafoundation.com There you can learn more about our work and ways to support Ukrainian families seeking stability and protection. Thank you again for being part of this movement. With gratitude, Svetlana Moskvitch Founder & Executive Director Svetlana Foundation
