It's just over a week until the national day of action on water quality takes place, with 11 protests across the UK on the 23rd April.

A new report, released by the Environment Agency, showed that water companies released sewage 372,500 times last year. Yet the government's extremely unambitious target is to reduce sewage pollution by 80% by 2050, 28 years from now.

It's not good enough and shows why it's more important than ever to make our voices heard.

If you are free on the 23rd, please come along to your local protest and show your support. Details can be found on the Surfers Against Sewage website.

And if you're based in the South East, please come and join us on Worthing sea front at 13:00 for our march and rally with some amazing guests including Jenny Jones (Green Party), Hugo Tagholm (Surfers Against Sewage) and Beans on Toast (Amazing Folk Singer). Details can be found in the official event.
