At the moment in UK law when a dog is hit by a vehicle this must be reported. This law should apply for Cats as well. After all both are beloved pets to many people. I found a cat dumped at the roadside today, I took it to the local vets. It's heartbreaking to lose any furry member of the family. Cats are important too.
