Email sent to the police and crime commissioner of London

Here is the email that I have just sent to The Police And Crime Commissioner Will update once/If i receive a response. Keep sharing fellow supporters Good Evening. I would like to bring to your attention that the park policies are not being enforced by the police and if they are it is on a discretionary basis. I have witnessed myself Islamic prayer taking place is mass numbers at hyde park. The police ignore this but they then enforce a ban on ladders that have been used in the park for many many years. A youtube video purports to show MPS constables stating to a member of the public that an area has been set aside for (Islamic) prayer and that prayer is lawful and allowed in Hyde Park. Please see video https://youtu.be/Byi2fkgyiFs Constable (unknown shoulder number) "They have been given an area .... it's not blocking off the main concourse...." Please could you provide a site map (or similar) showing where the "area" referred to for prayer is sited. Also Which constable (or other person) gave permission for prayer? Are their any records. Are their records relating to discussions with TRP regarding if you intend to enforce the TRP rules on worship in which the constable suggested? I am a little concerned that the rules of the park are not being followed by all officers and only some feel to enforce these rules and laws. I have contacted TRP and they have enforced what I already knew; In response to the recent events at Speakers’ Corner, we would like to reaffirm that The Royal Parks has not changed its longstanding policy forbidding collective religious activity in the parks and there are no plans to do so. However, this is not an explicit regulation itself. The regulation under which the policy sits prohibits the organisation of any assembly etc without written permission. It is for the police to enforce the park regulation relating to illegal assembly. All religious prayers should not be tolerated at the park no matter what religion. The police shouldn't be turning their heads. They should be enforcing the law on praying in mass. Kindest regards.
