Thank you so much for signing and sharing this petition. Each and every signature has assisted in creating pressure and the UK has finally removed South Africa from the UK Red List. I hope that despite numerous flight cancellations and travel changes that your loved ones are able to be with you this Christmas and that families can be reunited for the festive season. The unfair discrimination towards South Africa was evident and the pressures of this petition (including others of a similar nature) and public outcry contributed to the victory of the petition. The Change.org team has been incredible in their assistance. The team here in SA has been working tirelessly with the UK team to collaborate and present petitions of a similar cause to officials in the UK. So thank you to the change.org team for your fairness and for the platform which gives us a voice and support! On a personal note, I understand that petitions come around quite frequently these days, but I encourage you to take a stand and sign when a cause resonates with you.
