Hello,

3 weeks on and we have hit 70,000 supporters. More universities and accommodation companies around the U.K. are granting students the ability to leave their accommodation contracts early without financial penalty.

I hope that many of the people who were seeking what this petition demands have managed to do so. Politicians in Northern Ireland and mainland U.K. are raising the issue with the relevant bodies and the media is recognising the seriousness of the issue, giving us a greater platform. Please keep up the continued support for those who are still being made to pay rent for a room they no longer use.
