Stop fireworks except for organised displays on Bonfire night or New years Eve

Every year in the weeks leading up to November 5th and January 1st people face weeks of anxiety due to the use of publicly accessible fireworks. The majority of users have no actual training or knowledge of the dangers involved in using explosives, and that is what these are. The elderly and anxious suffer for weeks from the constant noise and unpredictability. Pets and wild animals have to suffer through it too, they have no knowledge that it is supposed to be to celebrate. Then of course there are the cruel who torture animals and this proves a great time for them to get a hold of something they would never be able too in everyday life. There are so many accidents, some of which can be life changing. There is no reason for people to have fireworks at home, there are plenty of professional displays. Don't be fooled into thinking that an age limit makes these explosives safe, they are unpredictable and we have all seen children who have managed to procure them from somewhere. It's time to stop this, please !
