I have just read yet another horror story of a stolen dog finally returning home in an awful state after two years.  The owners never gave up trying to find him and in the early days they found him for sale on Gumtree.  They were unable to get him back, despite police involvement. Eventually after all the heart break and a 'ransom', he is home but in very poor condition, very frightened and facing a lot of vet visits.

Animals are stolen from loving homes and sold to line the criminals pockets. Some with irresponsible owners are listed as 'Free to a Good Home', the majority do not check if it is a good home or not.  Puppy farms and back street traders have an avenue to customers. 

COME ON - please sign this petition so we can get a law passed that bans the sale of animals on the internet. This will cut off a supply of customers to criminals, puppy farms, back street breeders and irresponsible owners.   

Would you want your faithful, loving pet to come home after two years looking like the picture?
