Chris S started this petition to UK Parliament and

I would urge Parliament to set in stone a law which bans Children from taking part in activities that can be described under categories such as Blood Sports and Hunting.

Evidence suggests that young people rely on good, positive and stable care givers who should protect them from Harm.  By exposing Children to activities that include the killing, maiming and mal treatment of animals for sport could cause them emotional harm and in some cases, exposure to physical harm.

Allowing Children to take part in these type of activities is arguably a neglectful action by their primary care givers,  organisations, clubs or establishments which they may also attend.  Children should be protected from experiences that could cause them distress and exposure to harm.

The law should be developed to stop Children and Young People; under the age of 18 from being involved in the Hunting of Animals and any associated activities which can be described within the category known as Blood Sports.

I urge people to sign this petition in order to force/ develop the law to keep children safe.  Currently there are laws in place to stop Children being exposed to violent video games or images in movies etc.. so why should we allow parents, organisations,  establishments and clubs the chance to expose Children to violence against Animals.

I would urge the Members of Parliament, The  Judiciary, The CPS and the Police to make sure laws are set in place to protect Children from elements of society who think it is culturally acceptable to indoctrinate Children and Young People in to such endeavours as Huntin Foxes and the Killing of our Wildlife.  In a world; post Blue Planet,  we are educating ourselves about the needs of for example marine life and taking appropriate actions to mitigate the impact on our Children and the future generations of Children but we are largely ignoring our home environment.   It seems counter productive and hypocritical to the safety of Children and their environment to allow them to legally engage in killing animals for sport.

Our Childrens emotional and Physical wellbeing is crucial to the creation of a safe community for all species and by ending the practice of Children's engagement in Hunting and associated activities we can begin to set an example that all levels of Society put their safety and wellbeing first.

Thanks.
