Only 38% of the electorate voted for Brexit

In the June 2016 EU Referendum, there were 46.5 million registered voters:

33.5 million (72%) turned out to vote;

17.5 million to Leave (38%); and,

16 million to Remain (34%).

EU Referendum Abstainers (EURA) totalled 13 million (28%).

Solution

At least 62% are expected to Abstain from Brexit (AfB)

Abstainers from Brexit (AfB) are therefore expected to total at least 13 million EURA + 16 million Remain = 29 million AfB (62%).

Far exceeding the 17.5 million Leave vote (38%).
