Brendan McCarthy was sentenced to 40 months in prison today over procedures carried out at his Dr Evil’s Body Modification Emporium tattoo studio in Wolverhampton city centre between August 2012 and July 2015.

Brendan is a highly skilled profession body modifications expert and is a pillar of the alternative community. To jail him for carrying out concentual procedures to a high standard, safely in a sterile studio environment is nothing less than discrimination against the alternative and modified community and he should be released with immediate effect as there has been no wrongdoing. All clients were fully aware and consenting of the procedures they had carried out and to brand this criminal is lunacy.
