This Monday evening we saw the damage that lies can do. 

On their way to a meeting, Labour's Sir Keir Starmer and David Lammy were ambushed by angry protestors.

The group was fired-up by a baseless allegation levelled against Starmer by the prime minister. They used his words. They peddled his lies. 

This has to stop.

We cannot allow our politics to be based on intimidation, violence, slurs, and lies.

We need to change the rules and, through that, change our politics.
