Bleue has Crossed the Rainbow Bridge

Hi everybody,

i write this with the most heaviest heart and I’m devastated after all I went through to get my precious Bleue home and how this has now ended!

As you all know I fought for 8 solid months to get my fur child home with success in the end and we couldn’t of been more over the moon!

Bleue came home in March and had settled back in like he had never been gone, he was so happy full of love and was very content. however after about a month and a half of him getting home a huge lump appeared out of nowhere on his left shoulder, I rushed him straight to the vets and over the course of the last month we were in and out of the vets getting scans, xrays, biopsy’s, you name it we did it!

his results came back inconclusive at first however after more testing etc it was determined that he had 1 of 2 aggressive cancers! It was proven he had a cancer called sercoma on the day of his passing!

During this time Bleue was limping a lot and the mass was growing at a very fast rate and was noticeable on the left side of his body however he was on pain relief and also a course of antibiotics for an infection surrounding the issue, and was still his happy bubbly loving self, but then on the evening of 10/06/2019 Bleues body completely shut down at home, the screams of help from him were ear piercing and my heart broke into pieces.

I rushed him straight to the emergency Vet around 11:30pm that night as he couldn’t eat, he couldn’t stand, sit, or lie down and was howling with the pain! The cancer was attacking his nervous system and when arrived at the vets my worst fear came to life! The cancer had spread so aggressively into his neck, chest, and his lungs I had to make the toughest decision I have ever had to make and put him to rest!

Bleue fell asleep peacefully around 2.30am On 11/06/2019 he isn’t suffering anymore and he is at peace, I was there with him until he took his last breath and he crossed the Rainbow! My heart is shattered!

I genuinely believe the kennel stress caused something to trigger this as he was completely healthy before being taken and if he was never seized off me in the first place my dog would still be alive I cannot comprehend what has happened and I will never heal from this!

Bleue was only 6 years 11 months old and his life has been cut short, however I am at peace knowing he is pain free, I am so glad I got him home and his last few months alive were spent at home with everybody who loved him dearly, he was surrounded by so much love when he went to sleep and I know he knows how much he was loved and that helps me deal with this tragedy!

I had to send an update on here because all of you were so amazing through what was the toughest journey ever and now this will be the last update going forward!

I was allowed to bring Bleue home and bury him in the garden in his favourite spot under the blossom tree. His final resting place is at home just where he belongs and he was given the most amazing send off! He’s flying high now guys. He was too precious for this cruel world!

And for every single person who was involved in the seizing of my beloved pet... Karma will get You!

Rest in eternal peace Bleue my life will forever be incomplete now you are gone but I am forever grateful for all the years we had together, the times the laughs the highs the jokes the cuddles the loyalty the love you genuinely gave me and my daughter! You will forever be missed my sweet angel. See you on the other side my sweet child xoxo xoxo
