Every year horses die horrifically & needlessly in the Grand National for the sake of sport
According to Race Horse Death Watch, 57 horses have been killed on British race tracks this year alone!

Throughout the Grand National's history 83 horses have died taking on the Aintree course.

We need to ban or seriously address horse racing as a sport to prevent needless deaths.

I started this petition because…
I hate seeing  the mindless cruelty that such races causes for the sake of people making a few pounds on a bet.
