Hi everyone,

As today sees the UK allowing fully vaccinated passengers from the US and some EU countries to enter without quarantining, I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for signing this petition.

The 16,600+ signatures received so far highlight the scale of the impact this political decision is having on thousands of families that are not able to reunite. This touches not only French and British families, but also those of whom who wanted to travel to Continental Europe by car and who are unable to do so as most Channel crossings arrive and depart from France.

Although there are talks about France moving from Amber+ to Amber from next week, I encourage everybody to continue sharing this petition so that we can gather even more support.

I will also continue to raise awareness of this problem to politicians on both sides of the Channel, and to the media. 

Finally, I wanted to thank Laurene Aumonier for partnering together on this petition after Laurene had started a similar petition calling for the same relaxation of quarantining rules.
