The picture on this petition is of my 12 year old daughters final ride from our house. This is not a joke. This is not a game. These are not just words. This is my baby girl who will not be forgotten. 

On Saturday 24th October 2020at 6:39pm I received a rather strange message from a number I do not know. At first I thought it was a genuine wrong number, then the tone and the messages became very threatening in nature. 

I explained I had just buried my daughter the day before and was unable to deal with the tone and crap. They threatened to post things about Charley and myself all over the Internet. (check out #charleylaw to see more about my daughter)

I called the police to inform them what was going on, and they informed me that due to the fact the messages were coming from an unregistered pay as you go they can not do anything!! 

So although it is a crime to send threatening message's, the police will only do something if they can prove 2 things: 

1. Who owns the phone the message comes from. 

2. Can it be proven who actually sent the messages. 

This is a massive issue. This was the same issue we had with Charley.

I believe that ALL phones should be registered, pay as you go or not. I'm an adult and it affected me, it made me mad, it made me wonder what they could have and why they were messaging me.
