Princess Eugenie has decided she wants to have an open carriage drive through Windsor following her wedding in October as did the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in May.  She is a minor member of the royal family who carries out no royal duties. It is estimated that the police security operation for both before the wedding and for the drive will cost about £2 million of taxpayers money because it is outside the grounds of Windsor Castle.

i find this unacceptable, especially in these days of increases of increased poverty, energy and travel price increases, homelessness, to name but a few.  This money should not come from the public purse.
