I have been in contact with an incredibly kind man who uses his own 2 Houses & own money to provide safe, warm shelter for homeless military veterans in the UK. (The men at the back of the group in the Event photo above, are some who have been housed by Steven). Thank god that opportunity is available for some, but why is the government not backing that kind of scheme?? It should NOT be down to the British public, after all the money we’ve spent in taxes! This scandal MUST be exposed and put right ASAP! We have agreed that on Monday I will meet with Steven and the homeless veterans (still shocked that there are any in this country!!) to talk about their military careers, their homeless ordeals, how the housing has helped them start to rebuild their lives, and to talk about the Help For Homeless UK � Campaign/Petition.
