Hello,

Today is the first day of Liz Truss’ new job as Prime Minister — let's make a noise she can't ignore. Email your MP and ask them to support free school meals for the 800,000 children living in poverty. 

As Liz Truss gets down to the job, hundreds of thousands of children are heading to back to school hungry. Free school meals would make a huge difference to them.

As my fellow campaigner Victor says, “Me and my siblings relied on free school meals to get through the day. It literally was the only guaranteed healthy, nutritious meal we could have.”

Thank you so much to you all for signing and sharing my petition — we're up to an incredible 153,000 names. Now, please take the next step and email your MP to ensure they too become a voice for children in need of free school meals.

We can make a change. We have done so before and we will do so again.
