Ban the Grand National

Many horses have either died or have been euthanised due to the Grand National. The race involves high fences, which is the main cause of many horses’ deaths or injuries. The horses involved in the race are experiencing abuse from jockeys. Some jockeys have even admitted to seeing the horses as “replaceable”, resulting in them being inconsiderate towards them. Bookmakers are also making huge profits from the horses’ pain. Many people are seeing horse racing as entertainment and a way to make money.

Over the years, 84 horses have died due to the Grand National. By signing this petition, we can attempt to convince the Government to turn their attention towards the Grand National and stop the abuse towards the horses, before many other horses die or become injured.
