One arrived on my desk today from one of the UK's biggest providers. It quotes Mintel the national data research organisation who monitor the price of common goods and services. According to Mintel in 2014 the cost of funerals were: in 2004 - £1,920, in 2014 - £3,609, Predicted that by 2024 - £6,801 So if you are 50 2031 - £11,196 So if you are 50years old today, and die when you are 65 your family could face a bill for £11,196 for your funeral.
