Due to the circumstances under online learning and the pandemic, the option to retake quizzes have been removed for TAM 2XX courses. We feel that this unjustly affects our ability to perform as well in the course, considering the materials and quizzes remain just as difficult. Students are also pressured due to the pandemic, and may be feeling extra stress and mental health issues which can affect performance. There is also an added pressure to do well in important foundational classes like the TAM sequence upon the pressure of keeping grades up during a global pandemic.

We understand that retries are difficult to have completely online at a large scale, so we would like to have some sort of course change that has a similar effect to the quiz retries. We feel that this would be beneficial for the extra practice and understanding as well as overall better scores and mental health for the student body.
