Due to the impending storm this weekend, it is imperative for the residence halls to open a day early for those who want to avoid dangerous driving and travel conditions.

     According to an article published on WTNH earlier today, we can expect this scenario: “It looks like snow arrives before midnight Saturday changing to an icy mix by dawn Sunday. Freezing rain with an icestorm possible during the day with most areas stay at or under 32°. Ice going back to snow before ending by evening with a rapid freeze-up”.

     This petition calls for res halls to open at 9 am on Saturday, so students have the entire day to travel and move back in if they choose.
