Consultation Update

Hi all, The ‘consultation’ process is under way!!!! If you are a UCL or UCL-IOE student you can take part in one of two ways (or both if you prefer). The first is a survey. Although it does not ask questions that are directly related to the issues we are currently challenging – i.e. relocation and reduction of the bar plus social space, closing of the prayer room, and closing of the canteen – it does provide space for comments (at the bottom of each page, and at the end). You can use these spaces to convey your feelings. There is also a link that takes you to the proposed plans. Please, please, please take the time to fill this out; it will only take a few minutes. The survey will close at noon on the 19th of June. UCL Estates, together with the architects and the Project Team, will be hosting consultation drop-ins in IOE’s Committee Room 1 (next to Nunn Hall). You can drop in to any of these sessions; refreshments will be provided. These are the times: · Monday 5th June: 16:00-18:00 (Committee Room 1, Level 4 – Exhibition launch and drop-in consultation) · Thursday 8th June: 11:00-14:00 (Committee Room 1, Level 4 – Drop-in consultation) · Wednesday 14th June: 11:00-14:00 (Committee Room 1, Level 4 – Drop-in consultation) Please spread the word about the survey and the drop-in sessions; we have just under two weeks to make our views heard!!!!
