Big news - and two big asks

Hi everyone, Thank you thank you thank you so much for your support so far - we're building a coalition of people to stand up against the censorship of the arts. I really believe in this play. I want the story to be told, and I want other people to be able to tell their stories in future without the chilling effect of censorship! Censoring this play won't save anyone from being offended - censorship simply entrenches the "otherness" of Muslim communities, and allows the media to tell their story for them. We've had fabulous support from Time Out and The Stage in the past few days - and some really exciting things coming up in the next few. I've got two asks of you: - 1. Shout and shout loud. There is still time to save this play. Make as much noise as you possibly can. This play needs to be seen, and NYT's decision to strip a community of its voice is outrageous. - 2. There's a lot we can do together in terms of making noise - I can get you anonymous (if necessary) comment pieces in major media and our voice will travel that much further.
