Our dear friend Lysi lives here in Currant Hall: one of the freshman dormitories at UC Davis. She owns Missy, a friendly German Shepard who is also her beloved service dog. Everyone in Currant loves Missy and this dog can brighten up even the most stressful days. However, a complaint has been raised about Missy, claiming her to be a "threat." This is only because some people are inexperienced when it comes to dogs, and other service animals. She is, in fact, harmless and a shining example of what a service dog can be. Missy has been given 72 hours to move out of the dorm, and by extension, Lysi also must leave. Please sign this petition to tell everyone what a sweet dog Missy is, and to help prevent a poor girl and her service dog from being essentially evicted.
