Sorry there wasn't an update for a long time. We've been hitting milestones like crazy and I didn't have much to say. But I have something important now. Very important. Make sure to read it carefully. BEING OFFENSIVE HURTS OUR CAUSE! Calling Uber names won't make them rethink their opinions. It only makes us look like people who are not able to act reasonably and like grown-ups. Who do you think they more likely respond to? Group of people who act like angry kids or a group of people who act like grown-ups and have good reasons why they think Uber's decision was wrong. If you want your opinion to be heard, act like a person who's opinions are valuable. I've made a post about it on Steam forums. It's targeted at both sides, but I highly advice you to read it. (You can read it here or click use the link) Link: http://steamcommunity.com/app/386070/discussions/0/521643320361442796/ The post: I want to have a word to everyone who hates Uber and also to everyone who hates me and the petition. To all of you: There's absolutely no reason to get offensive towards anyone. Being offensive isn't going to make Uber rethink their decisions nor it isn’t going to stop the petition. Calling people "crying babies", "greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s" or "stupid" only makes you look like the things you are calling them and like a person who is not able to act reasonably and like a grown-up. (That someone isn’t a grown-up doesn't mean he can't act like a grown-up. Also, there were people on both sides who acted childishly, so please don’t make comments like “Most of the people who signed the petition/defend Uber are kids anyway.” They are not really valuable.) If you want to speak up your mind, there’s nothing wrong about giving valid points on the situation if you don’t get abusive. Remember that all of the 1600 people who signed the petition are real people with real feelings. So is Uber. They are people too, even though they made some controversial decisions. You might not realize it, but calling them names can not only hurt them, it can also significantly hurt your cause. If you’ll ever see someone act badly, don’t lower yourself to their lever. Just ignore them or respond reasonably. Take these words. Think of them before you post, but also before you speak or move. Thank you.
