You see, an expansion is something that expands your game with new extra (crazy) stuff. It builds on top of the game - like Titan (speaking of the unit; only the actual unit). That's super cool as a DLC to be honest and I'll definitely support it and buy it. But the problem with the actual "DLC" TITANS is that it wants the replace the original game. It doesn't build on top of it. It adds core things (like tutorial) that should have been in the original game. Expansion is something that is usually once made and not expanded upon more (except for bugfixes of course). TITANS tries to replace the original game and become the core of it. When you buy a game you would typically expect contend to be added in these ways: - updating the original game - adding DLCs - (or the game closes and there is no more new contend) As I said, the problem with TITANS is that it forces you to buy it when you want your game to be updated (and not be a closed game which gets only minor fiddling). With a typical DLC, you are very free to skip the DLC, because you know what you'll miss out and that your game is still going to be updated until it's closed. To sum it up - expansion doesn't get new free content over time. The original game should receive that.
