Even as we are learning to live with the Covid virus, we are also rising up together through social media, and we are looking forward to the Equal Rights Amendment becoming the 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Having been ratified by 38 states, we believe the ERA should already be certified as the 28th Amendment by the U.S. Archivist. An Equal Means Equal Federal lawsuit is pending on that.
Staying the same (no ERA) is unacceptable. Women will not be Handmaids, second class citizens or "Constitutionally less than."
Onward to Constitutional Equality!
There are lessons to be learned from the TV series "Mrs. America." There is a new chapter of women's history being written now, one in which women's rights (with an "s") are enshrined in the U.S. Constitution.
