If you're like me, you're fed up with the nickle and dime donation asks. I give as much as I can and every donation encourages ten additional worthy causes to run towards me with the palm outstretched asking for more. If you're bled dry and tired of the asking, I understand. Just ignore this, but if you can spare an extra 5 or 10, I hope you'll appreciate the reason why I'm making this ask. I am currently running for Trustee on a slate with the Vernon Township Democrats. Our opponents were elected four years ago unchallenged. Sure enough, unnoticed and unchallenged, they lack transparency and sensible priorities. Please help us bring better government to our Township as part of the process of improving our County, State, and Nation. I hate the money side of politics, but a donation will cover our direct mail campaign and additional funds for organizers. Our goal is to mobilize what is traditionally a nonexistent turnout for local Dems in a Township Race with a 3.5 million dollar budget that Republicans use just as much for their glossy overpriced propaganda newsletter as they do our seniors. We are rebuilding a more progressive and inclusive Democratic party from the ground up. I need you to be a true believer with me on this.
