As of 2014, there are an estimated 15.7 million people enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan. Yet, it is still difficult for some of these beneficiaries to find providers who accept these plans, and I am one of them. It has been quite challenging to find certain specialists who accept Medicare Advantage plans, which I believe a) is a violation of the ACA, or b) proves the inefficiency of the current legislation. I can't afford to pay the out-of-pocket expenses to see these doctors, and I'm assuming many of the other 15.7 million Medicare Advantage enrollees, and 54 million Original Medicare beneficiaries, can't either.
