My family met with my mom in the prison today. They were allowed to see my mom for a half-hour. My mom was doing well and was in a better state of mind. She said she received only some of my letters (the prison withheld some of them). She found what I wrote to be very inspiring. When we let her know we were working on appealing her case, my mom said she was also working on it. "Actually, I have already filed appeals to multiple courts." She said with a cheerful smile. It's great to see that we are all moving forward with the same heart. We all believe things will change if we keep trying. And it has. I’m looking forward to more positive changes ahead.
