My mom just had her 52nd birthday in prison. After receiving a call from my mom in October, we haven’t heard anything from her. My mom was typically allowed to place a call to us by the end of every month. We waited for the whole month but we didn’t receive her call in November. On December 4th, my dad and aunts went to the prison to see my mom. Unfortunately, this time the prison told us clearly that my mom was placed under “strict management” for refusing to “cooperate” with them and sign a statement of guilt. She is not allowed to see the family, make phone calls, receive or send letters after entering strict management. Although my mom might not be able to see, I will keep writing letters to her and to the prison. Freedom of belief is a basic human right. I will say it again and again until all people, including the prison guards, truly understand it. Please continue to share and support this petition. Thank you.
