We wanted to touch base and give you an update on our anti-soring campaign now that the PAST Act is dead, and stands no chance of passage moving forward. We're redirecting our anti-soring efforts to put pressure on the USDA and advance the Animal Cruelty Enforcement (ACE) Act that would create an animal cruelty crimes unit at the Dept. of Justice (more to come on that front). In the meantime please share our latest article from Patch.com and use the action alert at the end of the story to contact USDA and tell them to crackdown against the "Big Lick" soring horse shows that begin in less than a month.
