The photos are heartbreaking of poor Jenny, lifeless in a crate that had been submerged in a NJ lake.  And then to see the photo of the sadistic woman guilty of taking Jenny's life in such a savage manner, smiling.  In the recent case of a Morris County woman drowning a caged 10 week old puppy in a lake, it is unfortunate to know that she will most likely get off with just paying a few fines.  Anyone capable of such actions is clearly a disturbed person and needs psychiatric evaluation and treatment and should be banned from every owning another animal.  There should be a public registry for people convicted of crimes against animals which could possibly prevent them from ever having the opportunity to inflict pain to an innocent animal.

I personally would like to know if someone living in my neighborhood could be capable of such barbaric behavior.
