WOW! Thank you so much for supporting the women, children, and families who need Ryan White Part D. We have accumulated over 250 signatures in less than 3 days...because of YOU! Several organizations are working on behalf of this issue: the AIDS Alliance for Women, Infants, Children, Youth, and Families; Positive Women's Network; Women's HIV Program; Positively U; many Ryan White Part D grantees, and others. And the community is speaking! A petitioner shared how Ryan White funding helped pay for ARVs when her husband was out of work; another shared a similar story. Petitioners posted about HIV+ friends and relatives. And there are also many signatures of who aren't personally affected, but know the importance of Part D. Nana, a teen with AIDS, shared how psychotherapy she received with Part D convinced her to finish school and avoid toxic relationships because she now knows that she deserves better. We must press on--for all the other "Nana"s that are out there!
