I am so excited to share that with the help of your voices, we were heard!  The new PPP plan came though the house and senate but more importantly, the government put pressure on big businesses to return their PPP loans and the Treasury issued new guidelines that says public companies should repay their PPP loans and gives them until May 7th to return the funds in good faith.  This is an incredibly huge win for all of us, it truly starts to set right a wrong!  

Thank to the mounting pressure, Ruth's Chris has also announced that it will be returning the $20 million it secured from the Paycheck Protection Program as well. 

As previously mentioned Shake Shack is returning the PPP loan they obtained.  Other large and/or private companies to return stimulus money thus far include Sweetgreen and Kura Sushi USA.
