Morgan Arbuckle started this petition to U.S. House of Representatives and

Climate change is becoming a huge problem, and not many people are doing anything  to help control it. We are slowly destroying the planet by cutting down trees, among many other things, so government-owned land that is not being, and has no plans to be, used should have trees planted on it. Every little bit helps, and planting trees would help with the amount of carbon in the air, which would minimize global warming. This generation, and their children and grandchildren will have to face the consequences of seeing many species go extinct, and peices of land being cover by the rising ocean. Not to meantion the dangerous air and water. Animals' homes are being destroyed evrey day from deforestation. Even though I am only 14 years old, I don't want to see this beautiful planet destroyed little by little because my peers and I, and our future children, will have to deal with the effects of climate change. The earth is slowly being destroyed, and we as people need to take steps to stop this from happening, so please, sign this petition, and I promise, you will feel amazing that you have taken a step towards saving our planet!
