Overfishing has grown as a problem as the generations pass. Overfishing causes many environmental problems and needs to be stopped.  It is estimated that by 2048, all fisheries will be collapsed, if humans keep fishing at the rate they are now. This change in the environment will lead to a variety of problems include but are not limited to, species loss, a disrupt in food chains, wide spread suffering, and a disaster throughout the planet, as a whole. Currently, 16% of the worlds protein comes from marine life. As the human population continues to expand, the higher this problem is going to get.  If we don't reduce and/or stop overfishing now, the world as we know it, will never be the same
